We were more than happy to give away one of our lovely chairs to an At Home with Sarah Beeny reader recently. The competition, which ran on the At Home website sparked a great deal of interest with over 6000 entries!

As there's obviously some Willow & Hall fans reading At Home (we’ve even been told Sarah Beeny herself has a particularly strong penchant for our brand!) we decided to take a read of it ourselves. Generally, for those of us who love interior design shows it can be really great to curl up and relax reading interior articles from faces we know. Linda Barker for example writes columns in various magazines and papers and more recently there seems to be even more of a trend for TV presenters to not just write articles for magazines but guest edit entire publications.

At Home magazine is a great example of this - with many of its issues being guest edited by, you've guessed it - Sarah Beeny. This magazine gets the thumbs up from us as a good read if you've ever enjoyed Beeny’s various TV shows. There are follow up articles on families who appeared in Double Your House For Half The Money and a feature on Rise Hall which you may have watched Sarah and hubby Graham Swift renovate. The venue is now rented out for weddings and it's great to see how the finished project is being used!

The interesting range of articles and ideas makes it the perfect read for a relaxing afternoon, and it doesn’t overdo it with the Sarah Beeny endorsement. There are maybe one too many headshots in there (as you’d expect perhaps) – but overall the magazine is jammed full of useful articles.
