At Willow & Hall, we're looking forward to the long Spring weekend. So if you're thinking about visiting our Cosy Showroom during the Bank Holiday, why not tie it in with a visit to Hampton Court Palace, just a 10 minute drive from us.

With the Palace currently celebrating their 500 years of drama anniversary, there's plenty to see and do, whether you're 8 or 80...

The Maze
The Hampton Court maze is the oldest puzzle maze in Britain, consisting of twists, turns and dead ends. In fact, its shape has remained unchanged since it was planted in the late 17th century. The maze and gardens are included in every palace admission ticket and is fun for all the family.

Live Historic Cooking
Within the palace, the history chefs are on-hand to prepare food fit for Kings. Come and watch them roast joints of meat in the Tudor Kitchens. This is a fascinating research project run by food archaeologists who regularly bring the kitchens to life experimenting with traditional recipes, ingredients and cooking methods to prepare feasts. Best to book this in advance though!

TimeQuake
A 360° cinema experience, you can witness a TimeQuake which has caused characters from the past 500 years to return to the palace. Explore parts of the palace where visitors are normally forbidden – through secret passages, down hidden staircases and behind closed doors. This family event is included in every palace admission ticket and is recommended for children aged 7-14.
