We know that many of you are beginning to consider the purchase of a super-comfy Sofa Bed for your guests over the Festive season. The question is, with so many options out there, how can you ensure your Sofa Bed is 'not just for Christmas' and will be a great addition to your home all year round?

Well, here are our top tips to ordering your perfect everyday Sofa Bed...

1. The Design...
A Sofa Bed should look just as stylish as a Sofa. It’s a large purchase so you need to love the design and look. We know it sounds simple but many customers have told us in the past that they've had to settle for a design they don’t admire because the designs they love aren't available as Sofa Beds. At Willow & Hall, we offer a variety of designs, with extensive customisation options including a choice of fabrics and seat cushions so we're sure you won't have to compromise to find something perfect for your home.

2. The Comfort...
Whilst your Sofa Bed should look beautiful as a Sofa, it's also vital that your guest has a superbly comfortable night's sleep. Steer clear of any designs which don’t use a high-quality Sofa Bed mechanism and mattress as these trampoline type mechanisms do not offer good support. Make sure you opt for a wooden-slatted and webbed mechanism. Secondly, make sure you choose a sprung or proper memory foam mattress rather than a thin foam mattress. Many Sofa Beds come with these and they will not offer a high level of comfort for you or your guests. At Willow & Hall, we offer everyday Sofa Beds with a choice of three luxury mattresses, all with a depth of 12-14cm.

3. The Size...
The size you opt for will depend on how and who you intend to use your design. If only one person is going to be sleeping on the mattress then you can choose a small double mattress such as the ones which come with all our 2 Seater Sofa Beds and 4 Seater Chaise Sofa Beds. However, if you envisage that it will be used regularly by two people, you will want to opt for a double bed such as the ones which come with all our 3 Seater Sofa Beds and 5 Seater Chaise Sofa Beds. Lastly, if you're concerned about getting the design through narrow doorways and hallways, we offer removable arms on our 2 and 3 Seater Sofa Beds which quite simply reduce the width when getting your item in and can be placed back on once in the room of your choice.

In summary...
When buying a Sofa Bed make sure you can answer yes to the following:

- Does the Sofa Bed offer me superb style when closed as a Sofa?
- Does the Sofa Bed have a quality sprung or memory foam mattress (not a thin foam one)?
- Does the Sofa Bed have a wooden-slatted and webbed mechanism?

We hope these tips are helpful. However if you need any further help then please don't hesitate to contact our friendly customer services team on 020 8939 3800 who will be more than happy to help.
