The difference between a good night's sleep and a sore back is the mattress. Our pocket sprung and memory foam sofa beds are both excellent choices for regular use. The memory foam option in particular is ideal if guests stay often, providing the same pressure-relieving comfort as a standalone bed.
Every Willow & Hall sofa bed is built on a solid hardwood frame with a reinforced pull-out mechanism, so it won't wobble, creak or wear out after a year of use. This is what separates a quality sofa bed from cheaper alternatives.
Kids and pets? Choose a stain-resistant weave or durable linen blend. Prefer a luxurious feel? Our velvet and chenille options add richness and warmth. Free fabric samples mean you can test before you commit.
Before you buy, make sure it fits, both as a sofa and when fully extended as a bed.
Measure the space including the fully extended bed length (typically 190-200cm). Consider whether you need a corner sofa bed to make use of alcove space, or a compact two-seater sofa bed for tighter rooms.
Allow clearance - most pull-out sofa beds need 50-70cm of clear space in front when open.
Check access - measure doorways, hallways and any staircases. Designs with removable arms are easier to manoeuvre.

Our sofa beds are built for regular, everyday use. With a pocket sprung or memory foam mattress and a solid hardwood frame, they're designed to be slept on night after night, not just for the occasional guest.
All three of our mattresses are 14cm deep. Open sprung is supportive and breathable, and works well for occasional guests. Pocket sprung gives more even support for regular use. Memory foam relieves pressure points and is the most popular choice for anyone sleeping on their sofa bed every night.
Each product page lists the minimum door width needed. Sofa beds up to four seats are delivered in one piece, chaise designs in two and corner designs in three. Many of our designs also have removable arms, which makes tight doorways and stairs easier.
Made-to-order sofa beds are delivered in 4 to 5 weeks. Our delivery team places your sofa bed in the room of your choice and takes the packaging away for recycling. If it isn't right, you can return any design within 14 days of delivery, whatever fabric or mattress you chose.
Yes. Orders of £1,500 or more can be spread over monthly payments with 0% interest, through our partner V12 Retail Finance. You'll pay a deposit of 25% to 50%, then your first repayment is taken around 30 days after delivery.
The terms are largely interchangeable. Bed settee is simply an older British name for a sofa bed, and both describe a sofa that converts into a bed.
