We build every made-to-order 2 seater sofa from scratch in our Wiltshire workshop with experienced craftspeople. Each frame is handmade from solid wood and comes with a 25-year guarantee.
Choose from three cushion fillings, each offering a different feel and look. Reflex foam keeps its shape with minimal plumping and gives a firmer, upright seat, ideal for daily use and modern styles. Fibre-filled cushions are softer and fuller and need a bit of plumping a few times a week. Feather-wrapped foam is the softest and most comfortable, filled with duck feathers for extra depth, but it needs regular plumping to keep its shape.
Many of our designs have removable arms, which help when moving a sofa through a narrow doorway or up a tight staircase. You can also add matching scatter cushions to complete the look, either in the same fabric or a different one.
Fabric choice is important for a smaller sofa. Because a 2 seater takes up less space than a large corner or 3 seater, the colour and texture you choose set the room's mood as much as the sofa does.

If you want a more traditional look, The Foxcote has low scrolled arms and a tall, deep-buttoned back for a formal, country-house feel. The Buttermere is even softer, with rounded English roll arms and plump back cushions that work well in a relaxed, easy-going room.
The Malford sits between the two styles and is one of our best sellers, with tall, wide arms and deep cushions that make it the best 2 seater sofa for relaxed evenings. It looks especially good in a rich velvet.

When the day comes, our delivery team will bring your sofa into the room of your choice, unwrap it and take all the packaging away with them, so there is nothing left for you to deal with. If the sofa isn't quite right when it arrives, you have 14 days to return it for free, including full refunds on delivery and all personalisation options.

As a rough guide, if your wall space is around two metres or less, a 2 seater will sit better than a larger frame, and it leaves room for a chair or side table rather than filling the wall. If you have more space and often have people over, our 3 seater sofas or larger designs may suit better.
On many of our designs the seat and back cushion covers can be unzipped and taken off, which makes spot-cleaning or a professional clean much easier. Whichever you choose, we would always recommend checking the care guidance for your fabric first.
Most of our sofas arrive with minimal assembly required, such as attaching the legs. This makes it easier to move into your space, with a sturdy final setup.
