And lastly, check the rub count of your chosen fabric. We test the durability of our fabrics using the famous rub count test, where a little machine rubs the fabric thousands of times. A rub count over 10,000 is considered top of its class. A higher rub count is recommended for furniture which will be in constant use, especially if you have children and pets. At Willow and Hall, the lowest rub count we offer is 25,000 meaning, whichever fabric you choose, your sofa will withstand all that daily life throws at it and still look great with minimum upkeep.
