However, we understand that picking the perfect fabric is not always easy with so many fabulous choices on offer. That’s why, this week, we thought we’d tell you a little more about our lovely fabrics, to help you make that all important decision...
All our lovely fabrics have been hand-picked by our design team and have gone through rigorous rub tests (an industry test, whereby a fabric is rubbed by a little machine thousands of times to see how long it lasts) to ensure you not only get a beautiful fabric but a durable one too! Anything over 10,000 is considered top of its class for upholstery, and all our fabrics are 20,000 and above, meaning they should last you super-duper well (perfect)!

What’s more, all our lovely fabrics are either machine washable, dry cleanable, wipe cleanable, or can be spot cleaned (which is why we don’t protect our fabrics with Guardsman Protection as it washes off with every clean making it costly and not sustainable). Instead, we offer removable seat, back, scatter and side cushions on all our sofa beds (except the Appley), sofas and armchairs (handy we know)!

It’s important that your chosen fabric suits both your lifestyle and family needs. If you're looking for an item to use in a house with small children and mucky pet paws, you should opt for a durable and machine washable fabric such as our House Linen fabric. Made from 100% polyester, you’re able to get the fabulous look and feel of linen without suffering from its usual delicateness, so you can let your children and dogs run amuck on your sofas…after all, all you have to do is pop the covers in the machine for a cool wash and they’ll be as good as new.
On the other hand, if you’re looking for a more formal living setting you may decide to choose a more luxurious fabric such as a statement velvet. Both our Matt and Crushed Velvets are extremely sophisticated and soft to touch. Made from 100% polyester, they offer the opulent look and feel of velvet for incredible value, and unlike their natural counterparts, they won’t matt, fade or attract lots of dust and dirt.
