Here at Willow & Hall we always keep abreast of the latest colour trends. This ensures our customers always have a mix of classic and on-trend fabric colours to choose from. These trends are set by experts, influencers and brands across fashion and interiors. So without further ado, here are the top colour trends we're expecting to see this year.

Red, Pinks & Oranges

Whereas cooler colour tones have been dominating in recent years, 2023 sees a shift to warmer tones. In particular rich, earthy reds, pinks and oranges. Picture a beautiful sunset and you get the idea. We predict the most popular tones of red will be deep, jewel tones which look beautiful in dining and living rooms. Oranges with pinky undertones will dominate accessories in rooms, think accent cushions and throws. Pinks across the colour spectrum will come into their own this year. The Pantone colour of the year is Viva Magenta, a bold raspberry tone that we are expecting to see emulated across interiors. These rich tones look particularly stunning with tactile fabrics such as velvets, linens and soft cottons.

Warm Neutrals

While cool greys have been the top 'neutral' interiors pick for a number of years, warmer neutrals are making a comeback. Warm creams with hints of pink or brown are replacing these blue and grey tones. These versatile shades work perfectly with earthier jewel tones if you want to include bold accents in your room. They're also ideal for upholstering furniture in a softer shade which still holds tons of personality.

Earth Tones

Taking inspiration from nature, earthy and precious gem tones will be big news this year. Greens, yellows and browns help ground a space, and when paired with natural woods and wickers create a soothing interior. Jewel tones are rich and comforting, either when used as the focus in a room or as the accent. Combining the two trends brings the full spectrum of the natural world to your home. What could be more inspiring than that?
