Some people can never have enough shoes. For others, it's bags. For us however, it's all about the interiors books. As soon as a new release hits the shelves, we've added it to our basket so fast, it's barely seen the inside of the warehouse. And when it comes to inspiring interior design books, 2016 has not disappointed so far. Ever since the clock struck midnight on 1st January, a flood of gorgeous new titles were welcomed into the world, and into our hearts. So if like us, you share a secret guilty pleasure for collecting interiors books, here are a few titles we highly recommend you add to your collection...

English Houses: Inspirational Interiors from City Apartments to Country Manor Houses

English Houses by Ben Pentreath

Ben's interiors credentials are off the scale. A blogger, architectural and interior designer, Ben's latest book celebrates the English home, and the diverse array of approaches to interior design you can find lurking beyond closed doors. He hones in on 12 individual properties, photographing them in detail, and analysing their unique interpretation of English home décor.

Dream Décor: Styling a Cool, Creative and Comfortable Home, Wherever you Live

Dream Decor by Will Taylor

We loved Will's previous book that took on the use of colour in the home, and this second offering is as equally fun and thought-provoking. Looking at what makes a home unique, it addresses the use of texture, pattern, and of course Will's signature love of colour, demonstrating that when it comes to furnishing your home, there really is no right or wrong.

Botanical Style: Inspirational Decorating with Nature, Plants and Florals

Botanical Style by Selina Lake

Selina focuses on how to use plants as an anchor in interiors styling. Her take on incorporating plants into living spaces is far-reaching, tackling everything from industrial to traditional interiors, but always with a little of her trademark vintage style. It makes for an inspiring and imaginative read.

Styled: Secrets for Arranging Rooms, from Tabletops to Bookshelves

Styled by Emily Henderson

This one is due to release on 13th October and we can't wait to get our hands on it. Split into sections that centre around 10 tips for achieving a beautifully organised home, Emily references over 1000 different ways to combat clutter and live stylishly.
