The trend for multi-functioning, aesthetically pleasing (and somewhat quirky) storage is in full swing. Every nook and cranny must be utilized and the smarter the use, the better.

Staircases are converted into bookshelves, spice racks are made magnetic and even baths get a smart revamp. Are you making the most of your space? Why not make it your challenge to de-clutter this year? By finding creative ways to save room, you’ll not only get to play around with the decor, it will be a personal, individual feature.

It doesn’t have to be a massive overhaul of your décor though. Even the smallest tweaks to a wardrobe can mean a shoe rack or a mini-library. One great tip is to look at the unused space in your home. That corner in the bathroom, the airing cupboard or maybe even at the end of your bed. Another idea would be getting some fantastic furniture that doubles up in use. Our sofa beds are the comfiest around and really look the part. They’re all handcrafted with a solid wood frame, come with a ridiculously super and hardy mechanism, and have a 14cm deep sprung mattress as standard.

The possibilities for multi-functioning in your home are endless and we reckon it’s a great way to get creative to find ways to adapt your home to suit your changing and/or growing needs
